'Brustengò'
Ingredients: 1 litre of Milk 500 grams of Rice 500 grams of bitter cocoa 500 grams of pine nuts 1 stick of vanilla A little bit of salt 3 eggs 300 grams of sugar 1 lemon 2 spoons of rum and maraschino (liquor) 10 dried figs cut into small pieces 10 chopped walnuts Cinnamon and icing sugar Preparation: Boil the milk with a little bit of salt and vanilla. Pour the rise and cook for 15 minutes. Remove from fire and let it cool (the rice must have absorbed all yh milk. Remove the vanilla stick and stir in the egg yolks, the sugar, cocoa, the liquor,the lemon peel and a little bit of cinnamon. Stir gently. Buttered a baking pan abundantly,sprinkle it with breadcrumbs and pour in the mixture. Bake in preheated oven for 45-50 minutes. Remove from the oven and serve the brustengo. |
